Creative Open Space Survey for Arleta Stakeholders

COSLACreative Open Space L.A. - Arleta/Pacoima is spearheaded by the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, and is part of a collaborative endeavor with a number of non-profit and community organizations to help increase the health and livability of communities across the city.

This project will bring together local stakeholders to gather the urban open space needs and wants of the community and create the Arleta/Pacoima Open Space Visioning Plan. Greening open space has proven beneficial impacts on localities including social enrichment and individual and community health. Their aim is to garner feedback on what types of urban space typologies local communities have expressed interest in, including pocket parks, farmers markets, green alleyways, parklets, street greening, and more.

COSLA is currently facilitating meetings with the community and organized groups around the neighborhood
