Join us for the 21st Annual San Fernando Valley Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 11:11 AM! This year’s event honors the bravery and sacrifice of our veterans, past and present. The 2024 Grand Marshal, Specialist 4 Edward Landin, who served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973, will lead the parade in recognition of his service.
The parade route begins at the intersection of San Fernando Mission Blvd. and Laurel Canyon Blvd., covering 1.1 miles south to Paxton Street and Laurel Canyon Blvd. This family-friendly event offers a wonderful way to show appreciation for our veterans and connect with the community.
Don't miss the exciting carnival leading up to the parade, held at the Ritchie Valens Recreation Center (10736 Laurel Canyon Blvd, Pacoima, CA 91331). The carnival will be open:
- Friday, November 8, from 5 PM to 10 PM
- Saturday, November 9, from 2 PM to 10 PM
- Sunday, November 10, from 2 PM to 10 PM
Bring your family and friends to enjoy rides, games, and food as part of this patriotic celebration. For more details about the San Fernando Valley Veterans Day Parade 2024, visit sfvveteransdayparade.com or contact event President/Founder Fred A. Flores at (818) 645-5699.
