Good afternoon neighbors,
As the incoming school year is approaching, most students look forward to starting the school year with new supplies. However, for those families experiencing financial hardships due to the pandemic, buying school supplies can be an additional hardship. In an effort to relieve stress for students and families in our community, The District Office of Assemblywoman Luz Rivas will be collecting new backpacks and school supplies. Collected items will go to the Child Care Resource Center who will distribute to their network of needy students in AD39.
The Assemblywoman and our team would greatly appreciate it if you could share this flyer with your networks as well. Thank you in advance for any assistance you are able to provide in this matter.
