Caltrans is constructing a carpool lane on the Golden State Freeway (I-5) between the Ronald Reagan Freeway (SR-118) and the Hollywood Freeway (SR-170).
As part of the connector construction, crews will be adjusting the existing temporary construction supports on northbound I-5. For the safety of motorists, this work requires two nighttime full freeway closures on northbound I-5. Traffic will be detoured off the freeway at Lankershim Boulevard. (See map below for detour).
You may hear construction noise during this operation, but it will not exceed levels allowed by state and federal regulations.
